Organic potatoes grown by the Ivanovo-based company ProAgro have appeared on supermarket shelves in Dubai. The farm, located in the Ilyinsky District, cultivates its crops on land that was brought back into use after 20 years of lying fallow. The enterprise’s founder, Klara Prokhorycheva, created the product under the brand “There Is a Place on Earth” (Est mesto na zemle), which has now gained demand on the international market. In 2023, the farm received Russian organic certification, and in June 2025, it obtained international certification — confirming that the product meets the strictest global standards for organic produce.
Currently, the farm manages 1,200 hectares, growing five varieties of potatoes, beans, lentils, peas, flax, millet, and wheat. The farm also has its own apiary, producing meadow honey — up to one ton per year. Specialists note that the successful entry into the international market was made possible through the support of the export support center at the Ivanovo “My Business” center. Previously, a farmer with roots in the Ilyinsky District took abandoned lands into cultivation, creating an ecologically clean production that has now reached a global level.
