Last Saturday, traditional weekend fairs took place at five venues in Ryazan, attracting 145 food producers, including 9 farmers and 85 individuals running private subsidiary farms. According to the regional Ministry of Agriculture, residents purchased significant amounts of essential products, with meat, semi-finished goods, and sausages totaling 6.2 tons, while milk and dairy products reached 3.8 tons.
In addition to these staples, Ryazan citizens bought 3.3 tons of bread and bakery products, 0.2 tons of honey and other beekeeping products, 1.4 tons of fish, and 1.4 tons of vegetables. Notably, potato sales exceeded one ton, reaching 1.1 tons, while apples and pears together accounted for 5.5 tons, highlighting the strong demand for fresh local produce at the fairs.
