North Ossetian enterprise is ready to completely replace the import of potato seeds
The Fat-agro enterprise (part of the Bavaria group of companies) in North Ossetia can completely replace foreign potato seed material, its director Zaurbek Marzoev said.
“In addition, the company has developed a seed production program, according to which it is planned to produce 45,000 high-quality seeds together with other enterprises in the regions,” TASS quoted him as saying.
The company also plans to open a new breeding and seed complex in the village of Gizel at the end of the year, which will combine a new laboratory, storage and greenhouse complex.
