In the Tula region, the area under potatoes and vegetables is increasing
In the Tula region, the area under cultivation for potatoes, vegetables and vegetable gardens is increasing. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture of the region Alexei Stepin.

So, this year the sown area amounted to 945 thousand hectares. This is almost 10,000 hectares more than last year.

It is specified that as of August 15, more than 160,000 hectares of grain crops have already been threshed. Also collected about 800 thousand tons of grain.

In addition, rapeseed was harvested from an area of ​​more than 17,000 hectares, and 45,000 tons of this crop were harvested. Peasants work in the fields from morning to evening.

Now we are harvesting early vegetables and potatoes. The harvest is expected to be good.
