Idahoan Foods to Permanently Close Rupert, Idaho Potato Processing Plant by June 2026

Idahoan Foods has announced the permanent closure of its potato processing facility in Rupert, Idaho, effective by the end of June 2026. The decision will affect 61 employees at the site, according to the company.

The company stated that it will provide support to affected workers throughout the transition period. Idahoan Foods also confirmed that it will continue operating at its other facilities, though it did not specify how production will be redistributed following the closure.
