The sowing campaign is actively going on in the Samara region. In the southern regions, farmers have begun sowing grain, sunflower and corn, as well as potatoes and vegetables.
10.5 thousand hectares of spring crops have already been sown, more than 600 hectares of potatoes and vegetables have been planted.
This year, potatoes and vegetables will be grown on an area of more than 7,000 hectares.
Autumn soil preparation in the region was carried out on an area of 1.3 million hectares, 438 thousand hectares were sown with winter crops. Currently, 91% of crops are in good and satisfactory condition.
The authorities of the region announced that they are introducing additional measures to support agricultural producers. More than 11.5 million rubles will be allocated to reimburse part of the costs spent by agricultural producers to ensure the growth of open ground vegetables of their own production, as well as to reimburse part of the costs of producing greenhouse vegetables produced using additional illumination technology.
