American company Agri Spray Drones has entered the Canadian market for the first time and plans to expand sales of agricultural drones in the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan. Company founder Taylor Moreland noted that the needs of Canadian farmers largely align with those of agricultural producers in the United States. Agri Spray Drones believes that demand for agri-drones in Canada will grow following regulatory approval for pesticide application using unmanned aerial vehicles. The company is focusing not only on equipment supply but also on service support for farmers and operator training.
Founded in 2020, Agri Spray Drones specializes in sales, maintenance, and operator training for spraying drones. The company currently partners with manufacturer EAVision, adapting equipment for North American conditions. Until recently, production relied exclusively on Chinese components and equipment. However, the company now plans to localize manufacturing in North America. By the end of 2026, Agri Spray Drones expects to release a new model of spraying drone using predominantly American components and software. This strategic move aims to reduce dependence on foreign suppliers and strengthen the company’s position in both the US and Canadian markets.
