USA: Urschel Appoints Tim Crammer as President, Rick Urschel Continues as CEO

Urschel Laboratories has appointed Tim Crammer, formerly of Henny Penny, as President effective October 12, 2026, working alongside CEO Rick Urschel.

Urschel Laboratories, the US manufacturer of precision cutting equipment for the food processing industry, has appointed Tim Crammer as President, effective October 12, 2026. Crammer will work alongside Rick Urschel, who continues to serve as CEO, the company announced on October 14.

The appointment follows an extensive search conducted by a select team of company executives, according to the press release. Crammer joins Urschel from Henny Penny, the global foodservice equipment manufacturer.

Urschel, headquartered in Chesterton, Indiana, builds dicers, slicers and other cutting machinery used across the potato processing industry — from French fries to crisps and dehydrated products. The company recently unveiled the Little Gem Aspire dicer and is preparing a busy trade-show run: Urschel will exhibit at SIAL Paris from October 17–21 and, together with partner KRONEN, at Pack Expo in Chicago on October 18–21, according to trade-show listings.
