On August 5, 2026, one of the most anticipated agricultural events of the season—the “August” Field Day—will take place in the Tver region, hosted by LLC “Tver Agroprom”. The International Potato Tour team is thrilled to announce our official participation in this premier industry gathering.
The “August” Field Day traditionally brings together leading industry experts, agribusiness representatives, and scientific institutions. This year, the organizers have prepared an incredibly packed program that perfectly aligns with the goals and interests of our Tour.
The event will feature expansive demonstration plots showcasing over 40 promising potato varieties from top breeders such as Solana Rus, Norika Slavia, and the A.G. Lorkh Potato Research Center. Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore modern crop protection schemes, innovative nutrition systems, the latest agricultural machinery (including AI solutions for tuber quality control), and advanced vegetable storage technologies.
