Storage: June issue of ‘Synopsis bulletin’ published
In the June issue of his monthly Synopsis bulletin, storage specialist Adrian Cunnington reports on the recent World Potato Congress event in Dublin, including the technical tour to O’Shea Farms (pictured above).
The bulletin further includes a link to his presentation on post-CIPC solutions at the WPC conference session on storage, which also featured talks by Nora Olsen, Kurt Demeulemeester and Derek Ralston.
The focus of June’s Synopsis bulletin is on important store hygiene measures that need to be taken at this time of year to prepare for next season. Take advantage of a window in the workload ahead of cereal harvest to ensure stores are clean and ready for the new campaign. Elimination of fungal spores and bacterial contamination can be key in reducing infection risk.
