Biography
Santiago Cardoso is a third-generation potato producer from Mar del Plata, Argentina. He works at Antonio Cardoso e Hijos S.A., a family-owned agricultural company established in 1938, focused on seed potato production and processing potatoes for the French fry industry.
Alongside his farming work, he is involved in digital solutions for the potato industry, including farm traceability, sustainability indicators and agronomic decision-making tools for growers.
His main interest is connecting practical farming experience with technology to improve efficiency, sustainability and decision-making across the potato value chain.
