Russia: Chuvashia gathers 74,000 tonnes of potatoes as harvest wraps up
The republic's growers have also collected 7,000 tonnes of open-field vegetables alongside a 754,600-tonne grain crop.
Farms in Russia’s Chuvash Republic have gathered 74,000 tonnes of potatoes and 7,000 tonnes of open-field vegetables as the republic completes its harvesting campaign, the regional agriculture ministry reported on 3 October 2026.
The potato figure accompanies a grain harvest of 754,600 tonnes. Harvesting of remaining late crops continues in parallel.
