Russia and Tajikistan are stepping up cooperation in agricultural seed production and innovation

Following the results of the working meeting of the Ministers of Agriculture of Russia Dmitry Patrushev and Tajikistan Kurbon Khakimzoda, it was decided to increase the volume of cooperation between the agro-industrial complexes of the two countries.
The Republic of Tajikistan is an important partner of the Russian Federation in the field of agriculture. The active cooperation of agricultural departments contributes to the stable growth of trade turnover. Thus, in 11 months of 2023, the volume of mutual trade in agricultural products increased by 6%.
In the near future, measures will be implemented to enhance trade, develop cooperation in the field of seed production, innovation and new technologies, as well as in the field of education and research projects.
