pre-sprouting system for potatoes
The innovative ErFra VKS pre-sprouting system for potatoes is back in production. Erik Juurlink announced this online.

The ErFra VoorKiemSystem (VKS) of Erik Juurlink and Frank Hoitink was introduced to the market as an innovation last year. It is a wooden folding rack with strap to place in the potato box. With the pre-sprouting system, approximately 1,000 kilos of seed potatoes can be placed in a box.

This system ensures potatoes that germinate evenly and prevents condensation from forming in the interior of the box. The ErFra VKS has a kind of ‘chimney effect’ so that the seed potatoes in the boxes are evenly heated.

The ErFra VKS pre-sprouting system fits well in your own wooden potato crates (160 x 120 x 109 centimeters).

The boxes remain stackable. When filling the box, the pre-germination system can be covered with a lid. The planter is easy to fill with a tipper. The ErFra VKS pre-germination system is foldable and therefore easy to store.
