Groundbreaking collaboration as PotatoNext B.V., a new Dutch potato venture formed by Agrico and Nedato B.V., joins Europatat, marking a significant milestone in the potato industry. With around 200 table potato producers cultivating potatoes across 3,200 hectares, PotatoNext becomes the largest consumer potato cooperative in the Netherlands. Explore their commitment to maximizing potato value, reducing waste, and embracing modern farming methods for a sustainable future.

In the dynamic landscape of the Dutch potato industry, PotatoNext B.V. emerges as a transformative force, solidifying its position as the largest consumer potato cooperative in the country. The collaboration, a brainchild of Agrico and Nedato B.V., brings together approximately 200 dish producers operating on an expansive 3,200 hectares of farmland.

Jan Beveland, the CEO, and Marishka Verring, the Commercial Director, expressed the significance of a shared vision and purpose in driving the company forward. “It is crucial that we all share a common vision and goal,” they noted. The primary focus lies in maximizing the value of potatoes while diligently working towards waste reduction across the entire potato supply chain – from producer to customer.
