Minle County in Gansu Province, adhering to its “Pastoral Minle” development strategy, is accelerating the Phase III project of Gansu Aweike Potato Processing Co., Ltd. as a core driver for upgrading the local specialty industry. The project includes a new production line with an annual output of 16,000 tons of potato flakes, along with supporting facilities such as workshops, a boiler room, dormitories, a finished product warehouse, and wastewater treatment. With preparatory work already underway and the first equipment payment made, the company’s total potato flake production capacity will increase from the current 26,000 tons to 42,000 tons upon completion. This expansion will not only alleviate current supply shortages but also consolidate the company’s leading position in China’s domestic potato flake market.
The smooth progress of the project is strongly supported by a favorable business environment. The Minle County Party Committee and Government have established a dedicated service team offering comprehensive “shop assistant” assistance, ensuring efficient handling of procedures, swift access to policies, and full resource allocation. The Phase III project will adopt advanced production processes and environmentally friendly technologies, balancing increased capacity with green development. Once completed, it will further optimize Minle County’s potato processing industrial chain, driving the transition from extensive to refined processing and from single-model production to diversified empowerment, ultimately helping Minle build a distinctive and competitive potato industry cluster.
