Kazakhstan: EKSLi Optical Potato Sorters to Be Shown at KazAgroFarm 2026 in Astana
EKSLi's AI-based optical sorting lines for potatoes will be presented by its dealer AkBars ProfSnab at KazAgroFarm in Astana on 21–23 October, stand A42.
EKSLi optical sorting equipment for potatoes will be presented at the KazAgroFarm exhibition in Astana on 21–23 October 2026. AkBars ProfSnab, EKSLi’s dealer in Kazakhstan, will exhibit on a joint stand with EZNAN — stand A42 at the EXPO International Exhibition Centre, 53/1 Mangilik El Avenue.
After harvest, farms have to remove stones and soil clods from the crop flow and then grade tubers by quality. At large volumes, manual sorting requires many workers, and fatigue and differences in how people judge defects can affect the consistency of the result.
EKSLi’s equipment uses computer vision and artificial intelligence to analyse produce on the conveyor: cameras capture images of each object, algorithms classify them, and a mechanical system directs the produce into the appropriate stream.

According to the company, its Urozhai (Harvest) line separates potatoes from stones and soil clods at up to 100 tonnes per hour, while its Kachestvo (Quality) line sorts tubers by visual defects — mechanical damage, growth cracks, rot and greening — at up to 25 tonnes per hour. Actual performance depends on the equipment model and line conditions.
The two lines are designed to automate different stages of post-harvest handling. The company notes that the choice of equipment depends on product volume, its initial condition, buyer requirements and the configuration of the existing line.
