The agricultural industry is continually seeking advancements in technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency. The Haith Group, known for its cutting-edge machinery, is responding to this need with the launch of two innovative box fillers—the mobile QuantaFill and the Supa Fill 600 PRO XL—at InterPom 2024 in Belgium on November 24th and 25th. These new models offer significant improvements in crop handling and box-filling technology, ensuring smoother operations and minimizing crop damage.

QuantaFill: Gentle, Efficient, and Mobile

The QuantaFill box filler is engineered to provide gentle handling of crops, an essential feature for ensuring that products remain undamaged throughout the processing line. It utilizes an advanced in-feed conveyor system that gently layers crops into a buffer bunker. As the buffer fills, the bunker is gradually lowered into the box. The innovative design of the active discharge doors ensures a controlled and steady transfer of the crop, maintaining the machine’s integrity by preventing fatigue and wear.

One standout feature of the QuantaFill is its automated box-handling functionality. Operators can place stacks of empty boxes into the machine, which are then de-stacked and transported to the filling module. After the boxes are filled, they are re-stacked, streamlining the process and reducing manual labor.

To increase flexibility across multi-site operations, Haith has introduced a mobile version of the QuantaFill. Mounted on a wheeled chassis, this version can be easily moved around large processing sites using a tractor or forklift, making it highly adaptable for various farming setups.

Supa Fill 600 PRO XL: Speed and Precision

In addition to the QuantaFill, Haith will also showcase its Supa Fill 600 PRO XL, designed for large-scale farms that require high-efficiency filling systems. The Supa Fill 600 PRO XL works seamlessly with 2400-wide graders, eliminating the need for additional conveyors. Its innovative design uses three-variable speed belts to ensure a gentle crop transition while minimizing drop points, reducing the risk of crop damage.

One of the major advantages of the Supa Fill 600 PRO XL is its impressive capacity, filling up to 60 boxes per hour. This is made possible by the alternating box-filling system, where one side fills while the other is prepared. By employing drum motors and a rack-and-pinion system instead of the traditional chain-and-sprocket method, the Supa Fill offers higher reliability and lower maintenance requirements.

Comprehensive Solutions for All Growers

These two models add to Haith’s comprehensive range of box fillers, which already includes the RotaTip S, RotaTip SE, and RotaTip TE models, making Haith’s solutions suitable for growers of all sizes. From small-scale single-farm operations to large multi-site storage facilities, Haith’s equipment is designed to cater to the needs of a diverse agricultural audience.

Rob Highfield, Haith’s sales manager, expressed his enthusiasm for this year’s InterPom event. “We have always enjoyed a high level of interest at InterPom, and with the launch of these new models, we expect this year to be no different,” he said. Haith will be joined by its European agent, SWP Machinery, to meet with current customers and explore opportunities with potential clients.

Haith’s innovations—particularly the mobile QuantaFill and Supa Fill 600 PRO XL—demonstrate the company’s commitment to addressing the evolving needs of the agricultural industry. These machines combine gentle crop handling with high capacity and efficiency, significantly reducing labor requirements and equipment stress. As technology continues to reshape agricultural processes, Haith remains at the forefront, offering robust solutions for farmers and agronomists across the globe.
