Former Agricultural Leader Donates 200 Boxes of Potatoes to Support Vulnerable Families in Yeongam

On the 24th, Park Chun-seok, former chairman of the Sijong-myeon Agricultural Management Association, donated 200 boxes (10kg each) of personally cultivated potatoes—valued at approximately 3.4 million KRW—to Yeongam County. The donation was packed with the help of members from the Yeongam Women’s Volunteer Association and the Yeongam 4-H Federation, both part of the 2026 Republic of Korea K-Volunteer Corps leadership. The potatoes will be distributed to local households in need through each town and village administrative welfare centers, ensuring that the support reaches the most vulnerable members of the community.

Mr. Park expressed his joy in sharing his harvest with neighbors in difficult circumstances, hoping that even this small gesture would provide some strength to those in need.
