FAM STUMABO to Show Centris 400 and SureTec 240 Cutters at Gulfood Manufacturing 2026 in Dubai

FAM STUMABO will exhibit its Centris 400 and SureTec 240 industrial cutting machines at Gulfood Manufacturing 2026, running 3–5 November at the Dubai World Trade Centre, targeting yield gains and waste reduction in potato processing plants.
FAM STUMABO will bring two industrial cutting solutions to Gulfood Manufacturing 2026, the international food processing exhibition taking place 3–5 November at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The company will exhibit the Centris 400 and the SureTec 240 — machines aimed at improving cutting precision, increasing raw material utilization and reducing waste in processing plants, potatoes included.
Precision as an economics lever. The pitch is straightforward: regularity of cut yields a higher proportion of product within commercial specifications and shrinks the volume of potatoes discarded during processing. “Profitability is increasingly linked to precision,” says Yannick Lefevre of FAM STUMABO, arguing that small gains in cutting accuracy can affect yield, waste and total cost of ownership — an argument sharpened by the current context of higher raw material, energy and labor costs across the processing sector.

Centris 400: uniform slices and strips. The Centris 400 is part of FAM STUMABO’s cutting range for vegetable and fruit processors, developed for uniform slicing and strip cutting across different products, including potatoes. The machine combines high processing capacity with clean, precise cuts — characteristics that reduce production time, decrease waste and improve the shelf-life of the processed product.
SureTec 240: tool changes without specialists. The SureTec 240 incorporates the SureCut unit (SCU), a system that allows cutting components to be pre-assembled and the desired cut size configured in advance. According to the company, the complete assembly installs in a fast, uncomplicated and error-free manner, and the procedure can be performed even by operators without specialized technical training. That ease translates into shorter downtime, simpler operation and more uniform results across shifts.
Automation in demand. Processors are seeking equipment that reduces dependence on manual tasks, simplifies cleaning and delivers constant results throughout the working day. At the stand, the company plans to discuss with visitors the points where plants lose yield, slow down or show variations in the quality of slices, sticks and cubes. FAM STUMABO will exhibit 3–5 November at stand C4-41.
Why Dubai matters for potatoes. Gulfood Manufacturing has become one of the sector’s major commercial stages for the Middle East and South Asia — regions where frozen potato product consumption and new processing capacity are growing. Equipment shown here in November tends to feature in plant tenders across the Gulf and the Indian subcontinent within the following year.
