EUROPLANT Establishes UK Subsidiary, Appoints James Paice as Managing Director
EUROPLANT Potatoes UK Ltd, led by newly appointed managing director James Paice, aims to deepen work with local growers and expand licensing of the breeder's varieties.
German breeder EUROPLANT has established EUROPLANT Potatoes UK Ltd to strengthen its presence in the British potato market, appointing James Paice as managing director, Potato News Today reported on 29 October 2026.
The subsidiary aims to improve collaboration with local growers and industry partners, introduce new varieties and expand licensing operations. EUROPLANT said activities will be showcased at the EUROPLANT Open Days (4–6 November 2026, at Ten Brinke in the Netherlands, featuring varieties INA and FILIPA) and the British Potato Conference (18–19 November 2026, Lincolnshire Showground).
