Biography
Deepak Soni is a potato value-chain and strategic sourcing professional with extensive experience across PepsiCo and ITC Foods. During his tenure at PepsiCo, he managed an integrated potato value chain exceeding 150,000 tonnes and worked with more than 400 farmers across India through seed and ware potato contract farming programmes. His expertise spans seed development, varietal selection, agronomy, farmer engagement, crop planning, cold storage management, processing quality and production optimisation.
Currently Senior Manager – Procurement at ITC Foods, he leads strategic sourcing of processing potatoes and potato flakes for the Bingo! portfolio, supporting approximately 15 processing facilities across India. He combines technical, agronomic, commercial and procurement expertise with hands-on experience in developing and managing large-scale potato supply chains.
