According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, Belarus is among the top 20 countries in the world for the production of sugar beet, rapeseed, oats, potatoes.
The level of food security for all types of products in the republic reaches 95%. The country supplies the surplus to foreign markets. In 2023, the export of Belarusian agricultural products amounted to $ 7.93 billion.
In 30 years, the number of farms has grown 4.7 times. Their share in the total volume of production is almost 14 times.
Due to the comprehensive modernization and technical re-equipment of agro-industrial complex organizations, labor productivity in the industry has increased more than 19 times.
