About 25 tons of potatoes were harvested in the Novgorod region

The Ministry of Agriculture of the region reported that over 24.5 tons of tubers have already been accumulated.
The leaders of potato growing were farmers from Borovichi, Valdai, Demyansky, Krestetsky, Novgorod, Khvoyninsky, Chudovsky and Shimsky districts. The average yield here has reached 26.1 tons per hectare.
Also, the farms of the Novgorod region collected more than 15.7 tons of white cabbage and carrots of early varieties. The average yield for these crops was 40.4 tons per hectare.
Farmers of the region actively sell vegetable products at autumn fairs organized in different localities of the region.
