Russia: Central Region Wholesale Potato Price at 15.29 RUB/kg as 2026 Crop Estimated at 7.5 Million Tonnes
Fruitinfo's week-42 review puts CFD wholesale potato prices at 15.29 RUB/kg (+1.1%) and the 2026 national harvest at about 7.5 million tonnes, down from 8.5 million in 2025.
Wholesale potato prices in Russia’s Central Federal District were revised up 1.1% to 15.29 rubles/kg in Fruitinfo’s week-42 (6–12 October) vegetable market review, published 19 October 2026. Retail potato prices nationally reached a seasonal bottom, down just 0.3% week on week, but remain 6.7% above the start of the year; year-on-year, prices were up 26.3% as of 5 October, according to AB-Center. The review also flagged Tver region, where potato prices rose 4.1%, as an early signal of winter price growth.
Fruitinfo estimates Russia’s 2026 potato harvest at around 7.5 million tonnes, down roughly 12% from 8.5 million tonnes in 2025.
