MOLYANOV AGRO GROUP Celebrates 10 Years of Innovation, Growth and Potato Breeding

Potatoes.News and the International Potato Tour congratulate their valued partner, MOLYANOV AGRO GROUP, on its 10th anniversary, celebrating a decade of achievements in seed potato production, scientific research and the development of new potato varieties.

On October 13, 2026, MOLYANOV AGRO GROUP marks ten years since its foundation in 2016. Under the leadership of General Director Vladimir Molyanov, the company has evolved from a supplier of certified seed potatoes into an established breeding and seed production enterprise, contributing to the advancement of Russia’s potato industry.

Over the past decade, MOLYANOV AGRO GROUP has developed a comprehensive approach to potato breeding and seed production, combining scientific research, strict quality control and modern agricultural technologies.

The company’s achievements include the registration of three potato varieties — Julia, Alva and Helia — as well as the ongoing development of promising new varieties for the processing industry, including Frya for French fries and Simona and Lucy for potato chips.

To support its breeding activities, the company has established a specialized research laboratory and a greenhouse complex consisting of five greenhouses, with the capacity to produce more than 50,000 healthy potato minitubers over two growing cycles annually.
