Award-winning snack company Burts is set to launch exclusive limited edition RNLI packs in July and August 2024. These special editions celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) and feature heroes of the organization on the packaging. Two of Burts most popular potato crisp flavours, Light Sea Salt and Sea Salt & Malt Vinegar, will feature new graphics to highlight the important work of the RNLI.
Since their partnership began in 2021, Burts has raised £220,000 for the RNLI by sharing important water safety messages and highlighting the importance of the charity to Devon locals and visitors. The new limited edition kits will continue this support, promoting the RNLI’s life-saving work.
The RNLI-themed kits will be available in independent shops, cafes, delis and pubs, as well as regional Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Co-op stores. They will retail at an RRP of £1.20 per 40g pack and RRP of £2.25 per 150g pack. The packaging will also contain a QR code to facilitate donations and spread the RNLI’s ‘Float To’ message Live”.
