Belarus is preparing for mass harvesting of potatoes

Belarusian farmers continue to harvest early vegetables and potatoes. Preparatory work is also underway in the republic on the eve of the mass harvest of the second bread.
Today, the country has already received 80 thousand tons of various vegetable products, which is 110% compared to the same period in 2023. About 6 thousand tons of early potatoes have been accumulated in the organized sector.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, this year it is planned to harvest about one million tons of potatoes and 540 thousand tons of open-ground vegetables.
