Self-employed potato growers from the Komi Republic receive a new type of support

Residents of the region who run personal subsidiary farms (LPH) can receive reimbursement of part of the costs of potato production and sale.
This type of support provides for the payment of 10 rubles per kilogram of potatoes sold from a household or field plot. The main condition for obtaining it is the application of the “Professional Income Tax” tax regime. As well as conducting agricultural activities within the framework of private farms for at least 12 months.
In 2023, more than 416 thousand rubles were transferred to the self-employed in Komi under this program. 10 farms in Priluzsky, Syktyvkar, Sysolsky, Ust-Vymsky and Izhma districts benefited from the support. In the new season, about 1.2 million rubles are provided for payments to potato growers in the republic’s budget.
