Herr Foods Inc., renowned for its regional snacks, has unveiled three new chip flavors inspired by Philadelphia’s vibrant small food businesses. This initiative, part of the Flavored by Philly Contest, aims to showcase unique local flavors and engage the community in selecting a winner.
Flavorful Offerings and Community Support
The Flavored by Philly Contest by Herr’s has returned with a flourish, attracting over 1051 submissions this year. The three finalist flavors are:
- Talluto’s: Cheese Ravioli and Marinara – Talluto’s brings the essence of Italian pasta with robust cheese ravioli and zesty marinara sauce.
- Mom Mom’s Kitchen: Potato Pierogi – Known for its homemade comfort foods, Mom Mom’s Kitchen offers a blend of sweet, creamy potato pierogi flavors.
- Romano’s Stromboli: Special Hot – Romano’s Stromboli adds a spicy twist with cheese, heat, and tradition in every bite.
Ed Herr, Chairman and CEO of Herr’s, expressed enthusiasm for supporting local businesses through this contest, emphasizing the cultural richness of Philadelphia’s food scene. The chips are available for tasting and voting across all locations where Herr’s products are sold until August 9th, 2024.
