Agrarians of the Ipatovsky urban district of the Stavropol Territory have begun harvesting early varieties of potatoes. SHP “Agroinvest” began harvesting early potatoes of the “Colombo” variety.
In total, one thousand hectares will have to be harvested on the farm, the administration of the Iatovsky urban district said. To date, potatoes have been dug out on almost four dozen hectares with an average yield of more than 277 centners per hectare.
Thanks to the implementation of an investment project for the intensive cultivation of crops using irrigation, the agricultural enterprise operates 77 irrigation systems.
