Next year, the Russian Ministry of Agriculture plans to allocate more than 19.6 billion rubles in subsidies to support the preferential rural mortgage program. This will improve the living conditions of more than 9.5 thousand families and maintain a reduced interest rate on previously issued loans.

Rural mortgage, which provides for a rate of 0.1% to 3% per annum and a loan term of up to 25 years, is one of the most popular tools of the state program “Integrated Development of Rural Territories”. Since the start of its implementation in 2020, authorized banks have issued more than 106.6 thousand preferential loans for a total of 212 billion rubles. With the help of this mechanism, residents of rural areas and agglomerations purchased and built over 5.8 million square meters. meters of new comfortable housing.

Since the beginning of this year alone, more than 9.6 thousand loans have been provided in the amount of 24.9 billion rubles. The leaders among the regions in the implementation of the program are the republics of Bashkortostan, Udmurtia, Tatarstan, as well as the Orenburg and Nizhny Novgorod regions.
