More than 284 hectares of vegetable crops and potatoes have already been planted in the Donetsk People’s Republic. The work was completed at 90% of the plan.
Among the crops, mainly vegetables of the borscht set, including carrots, table beets, cabbage, onions. Tomatoes, cucumbers, and bell peppers are also grown in the region.
The Republic is increasing the volume of production of this type of agricultural products. And this is largely due to government support measures in the form of subsidies for the production of open-ground vegetables and potatoes.
