Supplies of Russian fertilizers to India have become minimal since December 2021. By the end of August 2024, compared with the previous month, the volume of exports in this direction decreased 17 times – to 77.3 million dollars.
In eight months of this year, India bought Russian fertilizers in the amount of 998.7 million dollars, 1.7 times less than in the same period of 2023.
Thus, Russia moved from the first to the third place in the list of fertilizer suppliers to India. Oman and Saudi Arabia became the leaders in sales of this product to the republic.
