Chips Way Expands Production in Čačak, Boosting Capacity and Setting the Stage for Record-Breaking Results in 2024

Nelt Group has announced the grand opening of a new potato chip production line for Chips Way, a company for which Nelt is both a distributor and partial owner. This event, held at the state-of-the-art facility in Čačak, celebrates the completion of the largest investment cycle in Chips Way’s history, totaling over €20 million. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Hill, Čačak Mayor Milun Todorović, along with business partners and media representatives.

With the recent upgrades, Chips Way’s production and storage facilities now adhere to the highest standards in the food industry. The investment includes the addition of a cutting-edge storage facility in Novi Bečej, equipped with advanced machinery for handling, processing, and preserving potatoes.

This significant expansion is expected to drive record performance in 2024. Chips Way projects a revenue increase to €25 million and a production volume reaching approximately 6,000 tons, with 50% of this output designated for export markets. This milestone reflects Chips Way and Nelt Group’s commitment to quality, innovation, and expanding Serbia’s food processing industry.
