HyFun Foods empowers farmers through hands-on training in soil testing, pH management, and pre-season planning
As the new potato season approaches, knowledge begins in the soil. That’s the message behind the latest HyFarm Paathshala training, a farmer-focused initiative by HyFun Foods aimed at boosting productivity from the ground up — quite literally.

Laying the Groundwork for a Successful Season
At the heart of the session was the critical role of soil testing in planning for Crop Season 2025–26. Farmers gathered to learn how understanding their soil’s condition — from pH levels to nutrient content — can dramatically improve outcomes in the field.
The training also covered:
- Fertiliser planning based on soil reports
- Bed preparation techniques tailored to local conditions
- Real-world problem solving, with farmers bringing questions directly from their fields
Practical Learning with Purpose
This was no theoretical workshop. The farmers actively engaged in the process, asking targeted questions about their own plots and learning how small changes in soil management can lead to big gains in yield and quality.
The message was clear: better soil leads to better potatoes.
Setting the Tone for 2025–26
With this strong start, HyFarm is reinforcing its commitment to sustainable, data-driven farming practices. As more growers join the movement, the upcoming season promises to be one where science and tradition go hand in hand — all in service of a more productive and profitable potato harvest.
