Sowing of vegetable crops continues in vegetable farms of the region.
According to operational data, as of May 25, 10.3 thousand hectares (65% of the plan) were sown under onions, carrots and beets.
670 hectares were sown with melons, or 9% of the plan.
Potato planting is complete.
The gross harvest of greenhouse vegetables in the farms of the region has amounted to 16219.11 tons by today. More than 14,259 tons of cucumbers, 1,800.3 thousand tons of tomatoes, and about 123.5 tons of other vegetable crops were produced.
