PepsiCo’s Leadership Visit Energizes TCPL Plant Team

Inspiring Leadership and Strategic Insights Drive Motivation Among Potato Industry Professionals

Bangladesh – The TCPL plant team recently had the honor of hosting a distinguished group of leaders from PepsiCo, marking two days filled with inspiration, strategic discussions, and valuable insights for the potato industry professionals.

Led by Naishadha Upadhyay, Head of Supply Chain & Manufacturing for PepsiCo Bangladesh Operations, the visit proved to be a significant milestone for the TCPL team. Mr. Upadhyay’s appointment as the new boss was met with excitement and anticipation as the team looks forward to working under his leadership to achieve shared goals and drive innovation in potato processing.

The visit also saw the presence of Pranav Mehta, Country Head of PepsiCo Foods, whose guidance and positive influence have been instrumental in motivating the TCPL plant team. Mr. Mehta’s consistent support and swift decision-making have earned him the admiration and gratitude of the entire team.

Among the esteemed guests were Akhil Harsh, Senior Manager & Customer Marketing Lead, and Pankaj Kar, Associate Director of Business Development, both representing PepsiCo Bangladesh. Their presence underscored PepsiCo’s commitment to fostering collaboration and driving growth within the industry.

The first day of the visit featured discussions led by Shailendra B., Associate Director of Quality Control, and Zareena Sayed, both from PepsiCo’s Quality Control division. The focus of the discussions centered on the AIB audit, with Mr. B. and Ms. Sayed providing invaluable support and guidance to the TCPL team.

On the second day, the TCPL plant team had the privilege of engaging with Ajay Singh Kundu, Associate Director of R&D Foods Packaging, along with AJAY TAKHER CPP, Senior Manager of R&D Foods Packaging, and Saikat Chatterjee from the R&D Packaging team. Additionally, Asma Akhter, Senior Manager of Global Procurement for Raw Materials & Packaging Materials, shared insights on procurement strategies and industry trends.

The visit served as a testament to PepsiCo’s dedication to driving excellence and fostering collaboration within the potato industry. The TCPL plant team expressed their gratitude to the esteemed guests for their time, guidance, and unwavering support.
