The project to increase capacity started two year ago. In this time, PepsiCo built a new warehouse for storing 2000 tons of snacks. A modern 360sqm warehouse increased storage capacities of the plant by 40%. Moreover, the move included reconstruction of warehouse for raw materials and ingredients and of the wastewater treatment facilities. In October 2017, the project was completed with the launch of the new potato chips production line. The line can produce up to 20 thousand tons of finished products per year.
