Oryx, the new Pouchain 4 row harvester

Specialist in vegetable harvesting, Pouchain launches its new four-row Oryx potato harvester, available in 75 and 90 cm versions.

With a speed of 1,250 rpm, the 6-cylinder Volvo with 510 horsepower (Stage V) controls its consumption.

The engine positioned at the rear, far from the cabin to reduce noise but also suck clean air from above to limit fouling of the air filter. The exhaust of gases is also done at height.

The attachment of the stripping arms is wider, for more stability

The front tires have a width of 300 mm instead of 320 mm in order to facilitate guidance between the mounds. To this is added a translator on the foredeck which facilitates the guidance

Diabolos are dragged, rather than pushed in order to improve vertical tracking of hillocks

Compared to the PAP, the Oryx offers superior visibility on the ripper frame and chassis.

Effanage capacity increases with a second effanage roller

Compared to the previous PAP harvester, the hopper volume increases by 1.5 m3 to 16.5 m3

Faithful to the Claas cabin, Pouchain can control the progress and different functions of its machine via the CMotion joystick.
