When calculating subsidies in agriculture, such criteria can be taken into account that motivate local initiative groups to increase investment in the rural environment. A draft law on the principles of subsidizing the development of agriculture and rural areas received a positive conclusion at a government meeting on Monday.
According to the amendments, when calculating the subsidy, value added tax (VAT) for local initiative groups, as well as installation and assembly services, mechanized works, and transport services for projects implemented in rural areas should be taken into account.
At the same meeting, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a legislative initiative that provides for the registration of peasant farms with the Public Services Agency.
The document is aimed at improving the legal framework related to the state registration of peasant (farm) enterprises, such as certification of the fact of their creation, reorganization, liquidation, suspension or resumption of their activities, the press service of the government notes.
Thus, it is planned that peasant farms will have several options for registration: in the territorial divisions of the agency or in the local mayor’s office. Documents can be submitted both in paper form and in electronic form.
The Public Services Agency in Moldova has 43 territorial subdivisions and 17 unified centers.
