In the Moscow region, the introduction of new lands into agricultural circulation is actively continuing; over the past week, enterprises in the region have begun cultivating territories on an area of 766 hectares. This was reported in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the region.
“Last week, in the Moscow region, six more enterprises began putting agricultural land into circulation – in Klin, Solnechnogorsk and the Orekhovo-Zuevsky urban district. The new territories will be used by farmers for growing grain and forage crops, vegetables (potatoes, carrots, cabbage), as well as raspberries. The total area is about 760 hectares,” said Vladislav Murashov, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region.
So, in Klin IP Myagina N.A. started putting into circulation a land plot with a total area of more than 360 hectares. They plan to grow vegetables – potatoes, carrots and cabbage.
KFH “My Raspberry” from the Orekhovo-Zuevsky urban district introduces 15 hectares of new land in 2022 for growing raspberries and perennial grasses. Currently, 1 hectare of berries has already been planted on them.
In total, in May, 28 urban districts began to introduce new lands into agricultural circulation, the largest territories are entered by Taldom, Lotoshino, Kashira, Shatura and Stupino. The total area is 3,962 hectares. The land will be used for sowing grain, leguminous crops, a mixture of perennial grasses for haylage, as well as for planting vegetables and potatoes.
Since the beginning of the year, 5,500 hectares of previously unused land have been cultivated in the Moscow region.
