In the course of this harvesting campaign, during inspections, it turned out that not all equipment is ready for work, and some farms do not even have enough combiners.
It is necessary to carry out a selective check in the farms, such an order was given by the head of state at the Palace of Independence during the selector dedicated to the harvest.
“The head of state drew attention to the fact that the falsification of the real state of affairs is unacceptable, it weakens the staff and leads to a lack of discipline,” the presidential press service writes.
Alexander Lukashenko instructed the State Control Committee to conduct spot checks in order to understand what is really happening in agriculture.
“Look – you know where to look – and report to me directly,” the Belarusian leader stressed.
Sabotage in the countryside
Earlier, during the meeting, the head of state drew the attention of officials to the fact that every tenth combine is not actually ready for work. Farms lack tractor and combine operators.
During the checks, non-working elevators and grain warehouses were identified. In a number of farms, postscripts were found according to the level of readiness of equipment.
“This is not just irresponsibility on the part of the local authorities, this is food sabotage. This is how it will be regarded,” Aleksandr Lukashenko warned.
