Last year was a challenge for farmers, but despite the situation at the beginning of the year with the supply of equipment and spare parts, or difficult weather conditions, agricultural producers of the Lipetsk region gathered a decent harvest. Not the last role in this was played by high-performance equipment that works in the fields of the region.
Active renewal of the engineering and technical park is one of the main components of the success of Lipetsk agricultural enterprises. In 2022, the farmers of the region again updated the record by purchasing new agricultural machinery and specialized equipment for 6 billion 41 million rubles. In total, more than 850 units of agricultural machinery were purchased during the year.
As always, tractors were the most in demand: 131 units were purchased. The machine and tractor fleet of agricultural enterprises of the region in 2022 was also replenished with 4 forage harvesters, 9 beet harvesters and 90 grain harvesters, as well as 628 units of other agricultural machinery. The energy supply of agricultural enterprises of the region per 100 hectares of sown area in terms of the total rated power of self-propelled machines amounted to more than 188 horsepower.
“Achieving high results in the crop production industry is impossible without purchasing new high-performance equipment and using the achievements of scientific and technological progress,” Igor Kremnev, Deputy Governor of the Lipetsk Region, is sure. “This year, the enterprises of the region will continue to actively update their machine and tractor fleet, relying on the most advanced equipment.”
