Herr’s Launches Mystery Potato Chip Flavor with a Chance to Win USD10,000

Herr’s, a Pennsylvania-based family-owned snack company, has created a “Flavor Mix Mystery” as a taste test that could win someone USD10,000. “We have taken three classic flavors and mixed them into one tasty chip, to make one never-tasted-before flavor,” said Bob Clark, Herr’s vice president of marketing. “One chip and fifteen Herr’s flavors to choose from. With over 2,500 possible flavor combinations, we are putting your taste buds to the ultimate taste test.”

The 15 flavors fans can choose from are: Sour Cream & Onion, Barbecue, Salt & Vinegar, Cheddar & Sour Cream, Honey BBQ, Red Hot, Fire, Ketchup, Old Bay, Salt & Pepper, Creamy Dill, Jalapeño, Mesquite BBQ, Boardwalk Salt & Vinegar and Cheddar Horseradish.

Fans have until August 31 to guess which three flavors make the “Flavor Mystery Chip.” Herr’s said it would share clues on social media channels to help. Fans should submit their guesses on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

At the end of the summer, Herr’s said it would reveal the flavors and announce the winner of the USD10,000.
