According to Deutscher Kartoffelhandelsverband e.V. (DKHV), participants of the DKHV potato training gathered at Friweika eG in Weidensdorf last week. Under the guidance of experienced potato specialists from Deutscher Kartoffelhandelsverband e.V. Participants gained in-depth knowledge about harvesting, storage, national trading conditions, quality management and sustainability. The theoretical foundations were presented by Martin Roffhack, HELMA Südwest GmbH, a recognized expert teacher, and by speakers Mr. Mitk and Laura Ritter.

During plant tours, participants gained interesting insights into potato storage and marketing. Special thanks go to Eric Richter, Member of the Board of Friweika eG, who provided participants with in-depth insights into the company.

This training was not only educational, but also inspiring! Participants gained valuable knowledge and new ideas that will help them in their work with potatoes. The entire DKHV team thanks Friweika eG for their hospitality and the opportunity to collaborate.
