Today, harvesting of late potato varieties continues in the Republic of Crimea. The work is carried out by agricultural organizations, peasant (farm) farms and personal subsidiary farms.
The leaders in the production of tubers remain Dzhankoysky, Kirovsky and Krasnogvardeysky districts. The most popular cultivars grown in the region include Slavyanka, Gala, Nevsky, Zhukovsky early, Columba, Rosara and Riviera.
According to local authorities, the expected volume of potato harvest is comparable to the figures for 2023.
