Enhanced Durability and Performance for Agricultural and Industrial Applications

Polaris Off Road, a leader in powersports and off-road innovation, has announced significant updates to its best-selling full-size RANGER lineup for 2025. These upgrades, inspired by customer feedback, enhance the durability, performance, and convenience of these vehicles, making them even more valuable for agricultural and industrial use.

The 2025 RANGER lineup features a redesigned front end and a new front bumper, providing added durability. Additionally, an upgraded Gen 2 transmission offers smoother and more consistent shifting. Factory-installed accessories further enhance the rider experience, offering more value and convenience.

Polaris has also introduced the all-new RANGER CREW XP 1000 NorthStar Texas Edition and reintroduced the popular RANGER CREW XP 1000 Waterfowl Edition. These models cater to specific user needs, providing tailored features for different environments and applications.

“We constantly use our customers’ feedback to drive improvements that truly matter to them and make the best-selling side-by-side even better,” said Chris Judson, Polaris Vice President and General Manager of Off Road Utility. “Whether it’s tackling a tough task or enjoying a trail, the new 2025 full-size RANGER lineup is stacked with quality enhancements, upgraded features, and now even more accessories direct from the factory that deliver more capability, durability, and comfort as the number one selling off-road brand.”

Notable Upgrades for 2025

The RANGER XP 1000 and XP 1000 NorthStar models now boast a bold, restyled front-end design with a new bumper and grille for added durability. These models also come standard with 29-inch tires, providing an extra inch of ground clearance, enhancing comfort, and improving capability over rough terrain. The XP 1000 NorthStar Ultimate models feature new JBL audio for a premium sound experience.

Factory-installed upgrades include a roof for added protection, a Polaris HD 4,500-pound winch with synthetic rope, autostop, and wireless remote for necessary pulling power. The upgraded Gen 2 transmission reduces shifting effort by up to 50%, enabling easier and smoother shifts. The redesigned cab nets feature a new single-latch connection point for easier entry and exit. Additionally, an upgraded electric power steering system enhances control and responsiveness, especially at low speeds.

New accessories include an upper front bumper for enhanced durability and a premium look. This summer, JBL audio upgrade kits and a new reverse light harness will be available, providing excellent sound quality and premium vehicle integration. The reverse light harness will automatically turn on rear accessory lighting when the vehicle is in reverse or can be activated by a switch when parked.

Performance and Capability

The 2025 full-size RANGER lineup continues to deliver the features riders expect from Polaris, including a class-leading 1,000-pound box capacity and 2,500-pound towing capacity to carry large loads in fewer trips, maximizing productivity. The on-demand All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system automatically engages four-wheel drive when traction loss is detected, ensuring confidence on rough terrain.

Standard on the XP 1000 NorthStar Ultimate, a 7-inch Display Powered by RIDE COMMAND offers functional capabilities such as GPS mapping technology and features that enhance the riding experience, like a backup camera. Available as an accessory add-on, the 2025 RANGER full-size models are eligible for RIDE COMMAND+, the industry’s first connected-vehicle technology. RIDE COMMAND+ offers owners convenient access to information like Vehicle Health and Maintenance Reminders, as well as protection features like Vehicle Locator and Bump Alerts.

Model Details and Pricing

The 2025 RANGER XP 1000 models include the same upgrades as the RANGER 1000, with additional features such as a restyled front end and new bumper and grille. The XP 1000 and NorthStar Premium models feature 29-inch tires with 14-inch ground clearance, and the XP 1000 NorthStar Ultimate includes JBL audio and RIDE COMMAND technology.

The 2025 RANGER 1000 models have enhanced performance and durability, setting a strong foundation for the full-size RANGER lineup. The RANGER 1000 Premium now comes standard with a factory-installed roof and the Polaris HD 4,500-pound winch. Available color options include Sage Green, White Lightning, Granite Gray, and Polaris Pursuit Camo.

The RANGER CREW XP 1000 Waterfowl Edition is back, designed for waterfowl hunters with enhancements to navigate flooded and muddy areas. The model features 29-inch Pro Armor Mud XC tires, arched A-Arms, a high-mount winch, and high-mount intakes, providing optimal performance in waterfowl hunting environments.

The new CREW XP 1000 NorthStar Texas Edition and Texas Edition feature exclusive Texas-Edition badging, embroidered premium seats, 29-inch tires, and arched A-arms for handling rugged terrain. The Texas Edition is available in Bronze Pearl Metallic.
