This year’s first batch of Chinese potatoes weighing 19 tons was imported to Russia on March 27. But the main deliveries began last month, and 101 tons of these products were imported into the country from May 6 to May 22.
Five batches of potatoes with a volume of 99 tons, after passing documentary checks and initial inspection, were sent in transit to temporary storage warehouses in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Novosibirsk Region. Another batch weighing 21 tons was shipped to the “TLT-Zabaikalsk” warehouse.
It should be recalled that in 2023, food potatoes from China did not arrive in Russia at all.
