Moldovan farmers will receive full compensation for the excise tax on diesel fuel they use in 2022.
Small, medium and micro-enterprises in the agricultural sector will receive full compensation for the excise tax on diesel fuel used since the beginning of this year, that is, 2980 lei per ton. The corresponding decision was made at a government meeting.
The excise tax on diesel fuel for all types of livestock farms will also be paid in full.
Large agricultural producers will receive compensation for diesel fuel in the amount of 30% or 894 lei per ton.
For this, an additional 120 million lei will be allocated from the National Fund for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Areas, and the fund for the full refund of excise duty to agricultural producers will amount to 320 million lei.
Applicants for compensation will be able to submit two applications to the territorial offices of the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture during the year, or one application every six months.
The maximum payment limit for one beneficiary is 200 thousand lei per year, which is twice the previous figures. Thus, the new changes will allow small and medium-sized agricultural producers to carry out mechanized work on an area of about 800 hectares, the government is sure.
